- מַסָּאII m. (נסא, v. נְסַח) peel, shovel for taking bread out of the oven. Taan.25a אייתי מ׳וכ׳ bring the shovel, for thy bread is getting charred. Bekh.27a שקלה לה בריש מ׳ she takes the priests gift of the dough on the point of the shovel (to avoid direct contact).
